  The doctor's are great. Not terribly impressed with the ultrasound techs. First time I see my baby is supposed to be something special and it certainly didn't feel that way. Second ultrasound wasn't much better. If your insurance changes, they won't help you at all even though they are currently the only physician available. Not exactly the kind of care a first time mother wants for her and her baby.

  I had a horrendous experience with (who I assume was) the nurse I dealt with, named Wendy for anyone who has the misfortune of dealing with her. I found out I'm pregnant after a positive test at my primary physician's office, so I scheduled an initial prenatal visit for Dr. Ansley Hilton, (who I never even saw,) but literally walked into what felt like a cold, coarse financial "assessment" and a shakedown for what I would be responsible for financially. Not only did the nurse assume that, because I was asking about payment options, I was just not going to pay at all, but that I should just go to the free clinic (for teens and at risk yonng moms... okayy, I'm 27!! Not to mention I went to the appointment with my HUSBAND and young daughter, who was planned just as this new pregnancy is...). She also told us that because my bmi was high, I would be required to see a dietitian (at another $85 after insurance per visit,)... and when my husband chimed in to say what a great job I have been doing at losing weight already, and that when I was pregnant with my first daughter I was carrying more weight even in the beginning and then I am now...to which she sarcastically said "ok", with a look like "and you point is??"... so after being hurt and judged and ridiculed for no reason whatsoever, she said if I didn't agree to the terms of my payments right then and there then I can come back when I was ready to sign it but that we were done here so I could leave… And she literally showed me the door, to which I asked if there was even going to be a pregnancy confirmation test or anything, And of course she replied with yet another "dig": " I can get you a pregnancy test but that will be $22.50, if you want a free one go down to the Palmetto clinic." I seriously have no idea what this lady's issue is but she was like, "triggered" some how, and she really seem to have a strong opinion about me from the moment she saw me… Needless to say I left with no services and bawled my eyes out when I got to my car and had a super low self esteem for the rest of the day. As I was leaving I noticed several girls who looked a lot heavier than me… (both working there and waiting as patients,) and I literally was thinking to myself, I really hope that they don't have any run-in with her or she'll do the same thing to them or worse. I truly hate to think about what her interactions would be like had I been a unwed (and/or teen) mother, or had I have been even heavier, and I shutter to think about what her interactions are like with those people, if she was THAT cruel to me. If you get a nurse named Wendy, TURN AROUND AND LEAVE.
